If you completed customization (types and attributes only) in releases before Unified Typing was available (in 3DEXPERIENCE R2014x), you must make the customization compatible with Unified Typing in 3DEXPERIENCE.

This Best Practice describes how the administrator can manually modify the custom admin objects for compliance with Unified Typing in 3DEXPERIENCE. It only applies to 3DEXPERIENCE R2017x and R2018x releases. This document also provides solutions and work-arounds for known issues.
