Best Practice | ENOVIA VPM V5-6R2016 COEXISTENCE 3DEXPERIENCE R2016x

Conventionally, the ENOVIA Coexistence product suite enables engineering teams to efficiently collaborate on product designs using multiple versions of CATIA. Designers using CATIA V6 and or CATIA V4/V5 can exchange design data and modify and update the product design accordingly. Apart from design collaboration scenarios, it enables CATIA users to share design data with downstream PLM processes in a V6 environment. Knowing how such data can be transferred to the 3DEXPERIENCE platform provides great advantage to PLM Administrators. This Best Practice document covers information from the basics of DBDI Coexistence to its implementation and usage with sample scenarios to transfer the legacy V5 data to the 3DEXPERIENCE platform. In addition, it will help you understand trace generation and basic troubleshooting details for DBDI.
