3D Merchandising provides a dedicated way for users to manage the Level Of Details ( LODs ) on their own (instead of having the application generating the LODs for the user) by creating a 3D representation with Representation Source as “Import Details”. This method of creation of representation supports the creation of 3D representations using mppack files exported by 3DVia Studio PRO.
This Best Practices document discusses the workflow for using the 3DXML and Collada assets in 3D Merchandising, General best practices, and troubleshooting techniques relevant across any DCC tool, while creating and exporting the 3DXML and Collada assets to ensure correct rendering and proper performance of ENOVIA 3D Merchandising applications.
