I'm really pleased to see that Regular Expression support has been added to the formula configuration for Enterprise Item Number (EIN) generation. For a long time, I assumed the formula editor was only suited for basic part numbering schemes, and that anything more complex required an EKL script. It's great to see that development is ongoing and the formula configuration is becoming more powerful.

That said, I'm curious to hear how others are handling their part numbering schemes. Are you still relying on EKL scripts? If so, what limitations are preventing you from switching to the enhanced formula-based configuration?

For example, in our case, we use a 7-digit part number with a hyphen for readability (e.g., 123-4567). As of now, we've only been able to generate this format using EKL.
