The DraftSight development team has identified an issue where the cursor will disappear and even an uinstall/reinstall does not bring it back. The development team is working on a fix for the root cause of this issue.

In the meantime, follow the steps below to resolve this issue:

1. Navigate to c:\\Users\\%username%\\AppData\\Roaming\\DraftSight\\1.2.107\\Profiles\\__unnamed profile__
2. Open profile.xml (or equivalent in-use profile) in an XML or text editor
3. In the XML file, search for: 
4. Change the entry to: '1' name='devoptions'/>
5. Save and exit the XML file
6. Open DraftSight and disable the Enable Enter on fast right-click option (Tools > Options > User Preferences > Mouse Options > Fast Enter behavior)

Your cursor should now be restored.  

NOTE:

If you have experienced this issue once and the steps above resolved the issue, until a fix is included in a future version of DraftSight, the "Enable Enter on fast right-click" option needs to remain disabled to keep the cursor from disappearing again.
