1. Login as administrator (Not as a user having administrative privileges!)

1. Go to Windows Control Panel > Programs and Features . Right Click on  DraftSight 2017 SP1 X64 and select Uninstall as shown below: 

1. Rename the DraftSight folder in the paths shown below to something like DraftSight_OLD

       C:\\Program Files\\Dassault Systemes\\DraftSight folder (to ex. DraftSight_OLD)

       C:\\ProgramData\\Dassault Systemes\\DraftSight (to ex. DraftSight_OLD)

       C:\\Users\\\\AppData\\Roaming\\DraftSight (to ex. DraftSight_OLD)

 Note: AppData might be hidden and not show in Windows Explorer. The easiest way to get to that folder location is by typing %Appdata% in the Windows Explorer Address Bar and pressing enter.

You will see the DraftSight folder

 4. Clean up registry by deleting DraftSight registry key folders

  HKEY_CURRENT_USER > Software > Dassault Systemes > DraftSight

 (run registry editor from Start > Run > type "regedit" (without quotes) and select OK. This will launch registry editor).

 Please ensure NOT to modify any other registry key or folder since it can lead to malfunctioning of other applications.

 5. Go to  https://www.3ds.com/products-services/draftsight-cad-software/free-download/ and download the installation file for DraftSight 2017 SP1 X64 as shown below:

  6. Run the installation from the downloaded folder by double clicking DraftSight64.exe.

  7. After the installation run DraftSight 2017 SP1
