How to delete zero-radius circles with DraftSight

Sometimes,  you may see some unselectable "dots" on your drawings.

These entities are actually zero-radius circles that have been created due to bad behavior of your E-snap settings. The problem has been reported to DraftSight's technical team and it will be fixed in a future release of DraftSight.

This post will show you an easy and fast way to select and delete these unwanted entities from your drawings.

You have to use the Smart Select command which is accessible from your Properties Bar. Make sure that no other entities are selected in your drawing before running this command.

After that, you have to apply the following settings in the command's dialog box.

Apply to: Entire drawing

Entity: Circle

Property: Radius or Diameter

Operator: = Equals

Value: 0

Selection results : Add to Selection Set

And press OK

You will see that all your unwanted "dots" are now selected.

Just press Delete in order to delete them. Now your drawing doesn't contain any unwanted entities.
