This book has been created as a tool to introduce the you to the 2D capabilities of DraftSight.  With this guide, you will be able to learn and understand the basic command structure of this program.  

 DraftSight is a very powerful CAD tool and is far too complex to attempt to define all of it’s functionality in a simple ‘how to’ guide.  Although DraftSight has 3D modeling capabilities, you will not find that within the pages of this text.

 This guide is best suited for a user that has had experience with a different 2D CAD platform.   You will be able to understand the differences and enhancement that DraftSight offers.  In addition you will get a glimpse at the ease of use of this program and the power that it brings.  Simply complete all of the step by step lessons outlined with the chapters, and you will be off and running with DraftSight.
