An issue has been identified in DraftSight 2022sp0 that results in the high memory usage.

The problem has been reported to the DraftSight development team who are working on a solution for the next service pack.

The reference number is : SPR1227133.

If you encounter the problem, it can be avoided by enabling the OPENGL compatibility option in the Graphics Information settings. The steps do to this are:

1. Launch DraftSight

2. Type command _OPENGLPROFILE then press ENTER

3. In Graphics profile window select option 'OpenGL Compatibility'

4. Restart DraftSight
