There are a few things you can do to make the command line more visible. This is especially helpful to new users or those with special vision needs.
A) Move the Command window to the top of the screen
- Click and hold on the “Command window” title
- Drag the window up under the Standard toolbar until you see a patch of blue appear
- Then drop
B) Increase the size of the text and change the font used
- Tools > Options > System Options > Display
- Expand the Command window text node
- Change the Font and Size options as desired
C) Add lead-in text on the command prompt
- Tools > Options > System Options > Display
- Expand the Command window text node
- In the Command Line text window, add a word or phrase
D) Increase the number of lines visible so that the top (Default line) is visible.
- Hover over the bottom edge (or top edge, if the command window is docked on the bottom of the graphics area) until the drag icon appears
- Click and drag until three lines appear
When complete, the Command prompt and Command window will be easier to find, the command sequence will be clearer and the command lines will be more visible.
