Hello everyone!
Let me present you the story of a planner who needed to collaborate a lot with various colleagues to secure his schedule:
- He needed to ensure with the purchase team that they have resources in stock
- He needed to check with the design team that all the fingerprints are ready
- He needed to be sure that the orders are paid
- He needed to validate the technical file before the production start
- …
Of course, DELMIA Ortems helps him to manage raw material availability, tools management, secondary resources… But he really wanted also a visual manner to check all these information. So we offer him to use markers to do so.
Markers can be add automatically (during interface) or manually, directly in the Planning module. We can define various markers (shape, color…).
And, big new, in order to improve visibility, we can now define the number or markers you want to display per line.
The number of lines for markers is configurable in the Display tab (Options > Configuration menu). You can pick between 1 and 5 lines.
Here are two example of an operation with 4 different markers in 2 different configuration:
- 2 lines for markers, the marker are bigger
- 4 lines for markers, there is more place for text if you want to display additional information
/!\\ This feature is available in the last Ortems fix: 2138. If you do not have this feature, please check your DELMIA Ortems version.
