Let me share with you a really small trick that can save a lot of time: the multiple selection.
Let's take an example: as a planner, I'd like to allocate a marker to 20 operations in order to indicate that a dedicated quality control will need to be done. Thanks to multiple selection, I can select manually (thanks to Control key) all the operation I want to update. I also can do a multiple selection on filtered or highlighted operation if needed.
Then, I just need to proceed as usual and allocate my marker to all the operation in one click.
Additionally, when the "Input mode" is selected, a dialog box prompts you for information on the action to perform when you select a context menu item.
Finally, if you want to move several operation in the same time (from one machine to another for example), you can use the "move block of operation" from the right click.
