As a rule, after you select a context menu item on the graph, you have to click the element you want the feature to apply to.
Some of the actions you can perform in the Planning application can apply to several operations or WOs at once.
To take advantage of this possibility, select Multiple Selection in the Modes tab of the control ribbon.
You can choose a different operating mode.
Highlights
- Multiple Selection: When this mode is active, you can use the context menu items on several elements at a time. From the list, choose how you want to select those elements
- Manually, by CTRL + clicking each element to select
OR
- Automatically, based on the results of a filter or highlight feature.
You can then:
- Select all the operations / WOs that result from the current filter.
OR - Select all the operations / WOs you have previously highlighted.
OR - CTRL+click to select operations or WOs on a Gantt chart.
After you enable Multiple Selection, the application disables the context menu items that can apply to only one element at a time.
- On a large chart with many operations, Input Mode is often the quickest way to perform the actions you want.
When this mode is active, when you select a context menu item, a dialog box prompts you for information on the action to perform.
To disable the active mode and return to the standard operating mode, click the active button again.
