With the release of the Workforce Planner for the Airport Ground Operations 2023 Refresh 3 the web client becomes closer and closer of being a stand-alone solution.
Here are some highlights with the changes for the web client:
- Demand Generation
Ability to create demand scenarios for the ground operations industry in the web client’s new Demand Generation view. Derive flight activities, demand activities, and static activities to ensure all demand is captured within staffing requirements planning.
- Assets
Configure assets for the entire plan unit in the web client, including personal ownerships and unavailability periods. Assign assets within employee schedules by linking them to shifts or activities. Track assignments within the new asset Gantt charts.
- Schedule rosters
Assign rosters to employees directly in the web client employee schedules with two new Gantt charts in the view. Use both drag-and-drop and dialogs to update the assignments for certain time periods, and optionally make changes to which employees are on a team.
- Scheduling improvements
The web client’s Employee Schedules, Preops Planning, and Day of Operations views have all received additional capabilities to aid with scheduling. Access new Gantt charts, group shifts and activities together, use a variety of new filters, run the shift generation optimizer, create standby shifts, and reset the shift bank to its original demand.
