What is DO SAP adapter?

DELMIA Ortems (DO) SAP adapter serves as an bi-directional intermediate between SAP systems and DO interface tool (VIC). The adapter consumes web services (BAPIs*) exposed by SAP systems.

What are DO SAP adapter values?

1. Safety and reliability through SAP certified interface during implementation and exploitation.
2. Bi-directional intermediate based on standard BAPIs. 
   1. Meaning, no development needed on customer side.
   2. To be know: updating data in SAP could be very complex (cost & effort) without a certified adapter.
