Why did we create the ‘UNDO’ feature?
The 'Undo' feature creates a safer and more productive environment for users in their daily work, empowering them to explore, experiment, and work confidently without the fear of making irreversible mistakes.
It improves overall efficiency by allowing users to quickly recover from errors and refine their actions.
What does the ‘UNDO’ feature do?
You can now cancel more changes you bring to the plan, provided that you do not take an action that cannot be undone in the meantime.
The last 'undo' feature available is:
- Setting an operation in progress
How does it work in practice?
To undo an action, you can either click the button or use the shortcut ‘Ctrl+Z’ or via the menu ‘File’>Undo
You will find the demo video at the end of the post.
What actions are currently UNDOable?
Here the existing list of possible 'undo' actions:
- Fix minimum start dates for operations.
- Move operation.
- Move bloc.
- Add, remove and modify markers.
- Modifications on work orders, operations, secondary resources (for operations), complementary information.
- Freeze and unfreeze operations.
- Create, delete, enable and disable links.
What are the limitations?
As mentioned above, you can UNDO possible actions, provided that you do not take an action of the examples below that cannot be undone in the meantime:
- Requirement management.
- SRP Computation
- Scheduling the plan.
- Resources/Material/Operator allocations.
Saving the planning.
