Starting from Ortems version 2025 Refresh 6, the alert sounds are toggleable.

These sounds are Windows alerts and are triggered at various moments within the Planning application:

• During WIP recall (twice)
• After a scheduling
• After a SRP computation
• When using SRP-dedicated highlight menus that do not bring back any results

These alerts may not be desirable for all users. To address this, a new parameter has been introduced, providing control over alert sounds. 

This global switch allows users to enable or disable all alert sounds played by the Planning application.

The option is specific to each user and applies to all the users' environments, as it is stored locally in the %appdata%\\Ortems\\Configuration\\ortems.ini file.

The parameter is accessible from the Planning application via: 

Options > Configuration > Accessibility tab
