Have you always thought that DELMIA Ortems manages only production resources? Wrong!!

It can bring additional value by synchronizing production resources with secondary resources such as Utilities in LifeSciences industry or ConsumerPackagedGoodsRetail industry for instance.

I am very happy to introduce to you the conceptual modeling (CM) idea. Its principal is about simplifying complex topics by describing them conceptually with a step by step approach. It can be a capability, a modeling or a process applied to a simple situation.

The purpose of this CM is to simply describe a valuable usage of DELMIA Ortems secondary resources as utilities. I had the opportunity to prototype this use case for pharmaceutical companies and it generated great enthusiasm toward the solution as it would help them to synchronize industrial assets dependencies, production, maintenance and other activities in one single source of truth.

This is 1 example of secondary resources usage, other use cases will come.
