As a planner, I may face various challenges regarding my setup and cleaning times.
More that managing campaigns and changeover times, I have additional requirements like:
- I have a cutting tool that will require cleaning after each 30 hours of usage
- I also need to schedule a cleaning time if my machine is not used for a while
DELMIA Ortems allows me to manage this constraints thanks to cycles times:
The cycle time of an item parameter defines the maximum duration for which this parameter can apply to consecutive operations, on a specific machine. It can be measured in different ways (see below):
