Several customers asked me where to find in 3DEXP. CATIA the equivalent of the Copy/Paste Special/Break link CATIA V5 command. This command is useful in assembly design when you want to duplicate an existing product reference and insert it in your current assembly.

First of all,​​​​​​​ you must activate the "Insert Duplication of Existing Product" Preference. Then you can use the Insert/Duplication of Existing Product  contextual command in order to get the desired result (see attached video).
