In CATIA we can create and apply materials with physical properties to 3D geometry for the purposes of simulation and analysis. One particular application of this capability is calculating the total weight of assemblies made of multiple parts whose materials may differ from one another.
While we can use B.I. Essentials to compute assembly weight, this value is not accessible as an attribute on the root product.
