For this stage of the project
I handled the complete mold design and project management from design to manufacturing.
This mold was designed as a 2-cavity mold with a three-plate cold runner system, using PP Z30S as the part material.
The design process focused on balanced filling, proper shrinkage control, cooling efficiency, and stable production quality during mass production.
For the snap-fit areas of the part, wire-cut machining was used to achieve higher accuracy and cleaner geometry.
Additionally, the highlighted functional areas were designed as replaceable inserts to simplify manufacturing, maintenance, and future modifications.
