In my third and last post on this project, I would like to share with you some other great concepts and capabilities available in 3DEXPERIENCE CATIA and the 3DEXPERIENCE platform I used to create my Space 1999 Eagle Transports and its variants.
First of all, the advanced duplicate function available in ENOVIA Collaborative Lifecycle App is very useful to create new data which can be then enhanced for a new variant of my spaceship.
On top of this, I also used Configuration on my product structure.
This make it very easy to design in what we are calling a 150% context, that is to say that you are able to design 3DParts in context of several spaceship configurations.
You are then able to check that your design will fit for all the configurations in which it will be used.
Always using 3DConnexion SpaceMouse and CADMouse.
Of course, after designing all those 3DParts and Product, it's possible to create some drawings of them (for manufacturing for instance).
