After our contest to challenge CATIA users in finding what I have designed this last days, here are a first post of a serie I will create to give you some more details on how I have recreated Space 1999 Eagle transporters.

The first (obvious) thing to say is that all the data I needed or I have created where stored and managed in our 3DEXPERIENCE platform.

So I have started my design using CATIA Mechanical and Shape Engineer role, and of course existing pictures and drawings of this fictional spaceship.​​​​​​​

I also used my 3DConnexion SpaceMouse and CADMouse Pro wireless to ease both navigation and design in CATIA.

Thanks to all this, I not only redesigned Space 1999 Eagle Transporter, but also several other versions:

• Eagle Transporter, with is in fact the Eagle spacecraft carrier with Passenger pod
• Eagle carrier with VIP pod
• Eagle with Rescue Pod
• Eagle with Laboratory Pod
• Eagle with Laboratory Pod and Spine Booster
• Eagle Freighter
