This part, which belongs to a motorcycle, was first digitized using 3D scanning. After capturing the scan data, I carried out the reverse engineering process to create a precise 3D model in CAD software.
Once the design phase was complete, I 3D printed a prototype for verification and testing.
I also designed the injection mold for this part, which is currently under construction. I’ll be sharing photos of the mold and the manufacturing process in the coming days.
This project is a full example of how we manage end-to-end engineering — from scanning and design to prototyping and mold development.
