This highlight aims to adapt to new scenario chooser infrastructure in the 3DPlay for Kinematic data open in 3DPlay app
Requirement origin
Earlier, it was decided to categorize the scenarios and sub-scenarios according to intent of the Experience. Example: Explore tab, Kinematics tab, etc.… However, later define has changed and all the scenarios are displayed at same level without any tabs to categorize the scenarios.
What is offered & how it serves
At the early stage of R2019x level, it was decided to group the scenarios and sub-scenarios according to intent of the Experience. As shown in the image below, is the R2019x GA planned architecture of scenario chooser. It was also plan to add tabs for ‘Collaborative’ ‘DMU’ and ‘Simulation’ scenarios along with tabs for ‘Explore’ and ‘Kinematics’ scenarios.
However, the definition is changed later. In latest R2019x level, all the scenarios are displayed on the same level. This is done to improve the user experience of the scenario chooser command for the user when compared to the previously delivered function. The Scenario Chooser command is available in the 'Fixed Area' of the action bar.
Example of the Kinematic animation scenario:
- User opens the data in 3DPlay, in which the Kinematic Animation is exported in native client
- Selects the ‘Animation Player’ from the scenario chooser
- Using ‘Choose Animation’ user selects the animation to be played
- Launch the Play Animation command
