A new Hole Callout command has been released in the Drafting app with R2026x FD03.
This enhancement has been highly anticipated for many years, especially by users familiar with SolidWorks.
Hole Callout is an annotation which helps to describe a simple or complex hole (or multiple connected holes), thanks to multiple dimensions, texts, and geometrical tolerances.
The hole description is simplified in a unique annotation expression, whereas several dimensions were necessary in the past.
Thanks to that federation into a unique annotation (compliant with last standards), the productivity will be enhanced, compared to multiple entities manual creation.
Each stage of the hole is described on a line in the Hole Callout annotation with appropriated symbolic:

Hole Callout support is restricted for the moment to Interactive Drafting and 2D Layout for 3D Design apps for first drop. 3D Tolerancing & Annotation, Drafting Template Essentials and Multi discipline apps in a second drop.
