We are very happy to introduce our latest CATIA Champion Mirzad Kovacevic (@MK ), CATIA Business Application Manager at Volvo Car Group in Sweden. Mirzad was welcomed to the CATIA Champions Program a few weeks ago by Peter Krantz (@PK ) from Dassault Systèmes. Mirzad has more than twenty-five years of CATIA experience, starting with CATIA V4 (1995-2005) and, since 2001, CATIA V5. He started out teaching CATIA users from various companies and industries, and later became a CATIA template developer at Volvo Cars. In 2009, he obtained a Dassault Systèmes certificate for having enabled the first working ENOVIA V6 installation in the Nordics.
Mirzad has been functioning as CATIA Business Application Manager and CATIA V5 Design Engineer Community Leader at Volvo Cars in recent years. In his professional life, Mirzad has used CATIA V4 and V5 at the highest level in automotive, boat and defense industry contexts. As a template developer, Mirzad used CATIA V5 and its knowledgeware workbenches to enhance speed and flow of the car development process at Volvo Cars. Mirzad has instructed more than 400 design engineers in Volvo Cars-specific usages of CATIA V5 in his present capacity. He is now greatly looking forward to both learning from and contributing to the CATIA Champions community.
