Starting with 3DEXPERIENCE R2026x GA, a new AI-based functionality is available in beta in the Mechanical Engineer, Mechanical and Shape Engineer, and 3D Tolerancing & Annotation Designer roles: Mechanical Interface Prediction.

This new feature enables the automatic creation of Mechanical Interfaces within an assembly context. Once the Mechanical Interfaces are defined on your parts, they can be used to:

• Automatically create connections between the parts using the Interface-Based Connection Assistant
• Or serve as a starting point to automate the creation of your tolerancing schema.
