Within the CATIA brand, the CATIA Strategy team aims to support the strategic development and growth of Dassault Systèmes' star brand across its 12 industry sectors. For the CEO and the management team of CATIA, she is in charge of issuing recommendations on the future portfolio of solutions to be implemented and is therefore responsible for the following subjects: construction of the strategic plan and the business plan of the brand at 3 and 6 years, market intelligence activities, carrying out ad-hoc strategic studies, setting up acquisition and partnership files.

To support the strong growth of our group, we are recruiting a Strategy Analyst for the CATIA brand.


Your Assignment 

Contributing to the various missions for the CEO CATIA, you will be required to carry out the following tasks:

  •         Strategy: based on the various teams of the group, proposal of entry strategies on the growth levers identified for CATIA, whether internal growth (proposal for product development) or external growth (proposal for partnerships and acquisitions);
  •         Assess the landscape: market segmentation and sizing, competitive and technological intelligence including trend studies, study of the competitive positioning of CATIA solutions;
  •         Planning: contribution to the annual financial and strategic planning process (market analysis, identification of growth levers, financial forecasts and summary of the associated offer plan);
  •         Alliances: construction and monitoring of the alliance radar (partnerships and acquisitions) of the CATIA brand. Participation in the analysis of potential targets, presentation to management and construction of investment files (due diligence);
  •         Management support: ad-hoc support to the CEO for the preparation of his internal and external meetings (clients, conferences, etc.).


Your qualifications

  •        With a Bac+5, engineer or equivalent training, you demonstrate a strong sensitivity to both business and technological issues. This dual sensitivity must be visible in the academic (double degree) and/or professional career;
  •         You have at least one year of professional experience in a large group of new technologies, industrial or in strategy consulting on technological products;
  •         Your technical background / general scientific culture allows you to work easily on our software solution and to exchange with R&D;
  •         You are curious and have a strong sensitivity to new technologies: Virtual Twin, Artificial Intelligence, Industrial Design, Systems Engineering (Architecture, Embedded Systems, etc.), Circular Design, Autonomous Driving, etc...;
  •         You have good analytical skills and very good writing skills in both French and English. You have a perfect command of basic computer tools, in particular Excel and PowerPoint;
  •         You master the major concepts of strategy (case studies, etc.). You have strong financial analysis/modeling skills;
  •         You demonstrate a good spirit of synthesis and good business sense;
  •         You have a strong ability to adapt, you know how to work on multiple tasks and set priorities to deliver quality and concise reports in a very demanding environment;
  •         Ideally, you know our products;
  •         Fluent English.
