Geometrical Set
In CATIA, a geometrical set is a container that can hold other elements such as points, lines, curves, surfaces, and other geometrical sets. It is used to organize and manage various geometry and design elements in a CATIA model.
To create a geometrical set in CATIA, you can follow these steps:
Open the CATIA model where you want to create the geometrical set.
Click on the "Geometrical Set" icon in the toolbar or navigate to Insert > Geometrical Set.
In the "Geometrical Set Definition" dialog box, give the geometrical set a name and select the "Part Body" or "Another Geometrical Set" option as the parent of the geometrical set.
Click OK to create the geometrical set.
Ordered Geometrical Set
An ordered geometrical set is a type of geometrical set that maintains the order of the elements added to it. This means that the elements added to the ordered geometrical set are listed in the same order as they were created or added.
To create an ordered geometrical set in CATIA, you can follow these steps:
Open the CATIA model where you want to create the ordered geometrical set.
Click on the "Ordered Geometrical Set" icon in the toolbar or navigate to Insert > Ordered Geometrical Set.
In the "Ordered Geometrical Set Definition" dialog box, give the ordered geometrical set a name and select the "Part Body" or "Another Geometrical Set" option as the parent of the ordered geometrical set.
Click OK to create the ordered geometrical set.
Once you have created a geometrical set or an ordered geometrical set, you can add or remove various geometry and design elements to it, and use it to manage and organize your CATIA model.
