It is with great enthusiasm that I introduce @SB, a distinguished figure in the world of automotive excellence and motorsport innovation, who has recently joined our CATIA Champions community.

Stefano brings a wealth of experience and expertise to our community, serving as the Head of Surfacing, Model Design, and CAD Technology at the McLaren Formula 1 Team. His career has spanned iconic companies such as Ferrari, Lamborghini, Maserati, and Alfa Romeo, where he dedicated over two decades to the pursuit of engineering excellence.

Since 2002, Stefano has been an integral part of the fast-paced world of motorsport, contributing his skills to prestigious projects in Le Mans and GT racing, with a remarkable 20-year presence in Formula 1. In his current role, he leads the aero design team, shapes CAD methodologies, and optimizes the surfacing and wind tunnel model design processes.

Stefano's main tool for his everyday work is the super important 3DX CATIA. It helps him carefully create and design each of the roughly 20,000 pieces that make up the McLaren Formula 1 car. His career in engineering shows how much he's always trying to make things perfect, all in the pursuit of making the car faster and more innovative.
