Dr. Lohar is a faculty member in the Systems Engineering Program at the University of South Alabama, where he leads work within the Advanced Systems Research Laboratory (ASRL). His expertise spans systems engineering, MBSE, and digital engineering, with a strong focus on using CATIA and the 3DEXPERIENCE platform in education, research, and industry collaboration.

For over three years, his team has used CATIA Systems of Systems Architecture and CAMEO Systems Modeler to support model-centric approaches such as system architecture, requirements traceability, and lifecycle analysis.
