I'm thrilled to introduce our newest addition to the CATIA Champions team, the highly skilled @ML 🏆

Mark began his career in design back in the '70s as a draughtsman, transitioning from traditional drawing boards to the world of CAD. His early experiences with Unigraphics included the fascinating task of reconstructing the outer surface geometry of a Lamborghini buck.

In 1993, Mark embraced CATIA during the door design phase of the iconic BMW Z3, marking the beginning of his relationship with this powerful tool. Over the years, he has worked across various industries, including marine, heavy engineering, automotive, aerospace, and Formula One since 2009.

Now, in his semi-retired phase, Mark Lane has a specific mission. Recognizing CATIA as a powerful tool, he emphasizes the importance of skilled operators. Over the past year, he has focused on simplifying the creation and manipulation of construction geometry, particularly in the realm of aerodynamic surfaces.

Mark, with his expertise and passion for teaching, is eager to share his knowledge and contribute to the growth of our community. His dedication to enhancing CATIA skills aligns seamlessly with our goals, and we are delighted to welcome him to our community.
