Dear CATIA lovers,
I wanted to share with you my latest work on interior renderings for Home and Lifestyle.
The idea was to produce and show a product that could be used for illustrating Home & Lifestyle use cases. I decided to try modeling and doing renders of a convertible sofa in an interior envrionment (living room).
These are the apps that were used in this process:
- Imagine and Shape (thanks @AS) for the soft parts of the sofa.
- Generative Shape Design (thanks @TB) for the structure, hard parts and the decor.
- Visual Scripting (thanks @ES) for the soft effect, stitches and side soft pattern.
- Live Rendering for the materials.
- Mechanical Systems Design & Experience (thanks @SC) for the kinematic bed conversion mechanism and animation (not illustrated in this post).
- Product Perception Experience for the final experience including variants and animations.
I plan to posts some videos illustrating each step of the process to get to the following images (How-To).
The renders were done in Stellar GPU mode with Product Perception Experience (approx. 1mn 30sec per image).
P.S. The plants and other props like the books, single seat, middle table, comes from VCC and free online 3D Model libraries.
