Capturing images from CATIA 3DEXPERIENCE in Microsoft Office can be very easy done thru automation. Like in CATIAV5, you can create your own custom tools to automate different tasks.

The most easy environment to use for programming is the VBA editor, which will allow you to create intuitive interfaces for the users.

The newly created tool, in this case a catvba, will be saved in the database, so everyone which have access can use it. To be very clear that this catvba was created only for 3DEXPERIENCE platform, I added as user form background, the image provided by the platform for the background.

The small differences between CATIAV5 and CATIA in 3DEXPERIENCE in vba for this case are shown at the end of this video.
