This is the presentation of the benefits of HVAC and piping modeling for AEC Industry, that I gave at the Dassault Systèmes User Conference (Dec-18).
Woodeum is a real estate company, which exclusively use wood based product for the structure of its buildings, and especially Cross Laminated Timber. This components are prefabricated (produced and cut) in factory by CNC machine to the mm, following execution plans.
The different tools of 3D Experience platform allows an accurate modeling of HVAC and Piping Design, make the synthesis easier with the Structure of the building and predict at best the position of the space reservations.
This presentation shows some modeling and synthesis process of the HVAC and Piping design from a practical case : Epicea, a 23 housing building in Issy-les-Moulineaux, made by Woodeum.
