Feed check valve

A feed check valve is a type of check valve designed specifically for controlling the flow of fluid (liquid or gas) in a system where feed or supply is involved. Like a standard check valve, it allows the fluid to flow in one direction while preventing backflow. The term "feed" in this context often implies that the valve is utilized in systems where a continuous and controlled supply of fluid is essential.

The feed check valve typically consists of a valve mechanism, such as a flap, disc, or ball, which opens to allow the fluid to pass in the desired direction. When the flow attempts to reverse, the valve closes, preventing backflow and maintaining the intended flow direction. These valves are commonly used in various industrial applications, such as steam systems, water supply, and other fluid-handling systems where controlled and unidirectional flow is critical.
