In the [2017, 2021] years , Dassault Systemes initiated the eFMI standard.

eFMI relates to the transformation process from multi physics modeling in PC to embedded software generation, in the automotive context.

To create it this CATIA Cyber Systems R&D, with the support of T&M industry joined a European ITEA project, with 25 partners from 5 countries.

The following article related the EMPHYSIS eFMI success story, , 2 years after the creation of the permanent eFMI standardization project.
