The current visualization mode loads lightweight representations (CGR), whereas the new lightweight mode introduces the following improvements:
- Information is index-based
- Loading is progressive and depends on the viewpoint (cloud only with VIK license)
- Only visualization data is kept in memory
- 3D representations are optimized and simplified, resulting in faster loading times
Benefits: The lightweight mode accelerates the opening of large assemblies by up to 100 times. You can work within the full assembly context, navigate, and select the appropriate subassembly for authoring.
