March 22nd is World Water Day 💧 and on this occasion, the CATIA Marketing team offers you a Design Contest on the theme of water conservation and all the innovative solutions that can help reduce & save water. We therefore propose the following challenge 👇🏻
What could you design to ensure clean water and sanitation for all?
Did you know that?
- Most of the fresh water is in the form of polar ice 🧊 and is unusable ✖.
- Water is the only substance on earth that occurs naturally in 3 forms, solid 🧊, liquid 💧 & gaseous state 🌫.
- 🤷🏻♂️ We still do not know how water appeared on Earth 🤷🏻♀️. For some scientists 👨🏻🔬, terrestrial water has gradually been integrated into the magma of molten rocks. For others it is meteorites that would have brought water to Earth 🌍.
Water in Numbers
- 1 as the percentage of water that is drinkable 🚰 on earth 🌍.
- 3 as the percentage of the world's water that is freshwater.
- 150 as the number of litres of water consumed by an European per day.
- 800 as the number of millions of people who do not have access to drinking water 🚱.
Procedure to follow to participate 👇🏻
1. Publish Renderings & 3D Model on the CATIA User Community 👇🏻.
2. Upload on the CATIA User Community with the tag Design Contest
3. Send a message into the Conversation tab to @AP with your postal address 📍, email 📧, and phone number 📱 so we can send you your unique CATIA product among our range of goodies.
You can submit your renderings & 3D Model throughout the month of March (Until 31 March at 11:59pm UTC).
Winners 🏆 will be selected during the first fortnight of April according to criteria of innovation & sustainability of their achievement using CATIA app which can be a real innovation in the water 💧 domain. A different competition is established between @DS participants and external CATIA users.
