Allowing sourcing of 3D Content, this service is provided free of charge in all recent CATIA V5 levels, and is here demonstrated in CATIA V5-6R2019 which has just been released.

Thanks to Part Supply integration in CATIA V5, user can easily look for standard Parts or Products, filtering his search results thanks to tags such as categories, supplier name, country, or any other available information.

The power of semantic search allows the user to retrieve similar parts, directly accessible in CATIA V5 and which can then be used in his product to meet his needs.

Detailed description is available on each standard Part or Product, for each configuration, which can downloaded and opened in CATIA V5 in one click.

As Part Supply provides CATIA V5 native data, it is then easy for the user to reuse them in his Product. For instance, here, the selected hexagonal nut can be put in place in a few clicks on one of the Flying Wing Drone engine’s axis.

To enhance the user experience, Part Supply integration in CATIA V5 also provides users with dedicated functionalities to ease the use of Standard Parts and Products.

For instance, in a few clicks, user can insert in his Product a selected Part or Product configuration. He can also replace a multi-instantiated Part by a new one coming from Part Supply. As you can see here, using CATIA V5 existing capabilities, it is then easy to replace all the instances of one screw by news ones of a standard screw coming from Part Supply.
