CATIA Design Contest : Environment Day

Hello ,

I would like to share with you here my first Project for June Contest :Tree wind turbines

What is Tree wind turbines ?

Tree wind turbines, also known as wind trees or wind harvesters, are innovative structures that mimic the shape and aesthetic of trees while generating renewable energy from the wind. These turbines consist of multiple small wind turbines mounted on branches or trunks, which capture the kinetic energy of the wind and convert it into electricity. By emulating the appearance of trees, these turbines aim to provide an environmentally friendly and visually appealing solution for urban and residential areas where large-scale wind turbines may not be feasible or desirable.

Aeroleaf technology

To be functional in an urban setting, New World Wind created the first micro-turbine known as the Aeroleaf. The Aeroleaf’s cone shape allows it to catch wind energy at 360°, and it only requires a wind speed of 2.5 meters per second to initiate energy generation.
