As Simulation and Design collaborate more than ever to innovate new consumer experiences, Dassault Systèmes, the 3DEXPERIENCE Company was pleased to host a dedicated event for Design & Simulation users, the Dassault Systèmes User Conference in Hanau, Germany in December 2018.
We had the chance to meet Rhushik Matroja (@RM), a CATIA Champion from Prismadd Japan, who was also a speaker during the conference. Rhushik was born in India, grew up in France and now working in Japan. He graduated from ISMANS, a Mechanical and Material Engineering school based in Le Mans. He specialized in CAD Design and FEA analysis. He used CATIA V5 while in Engineering school and working for Sumitomo Wiring Systems in Japan.
Currently he is Design Office Manager for We Are Pacific group’s PRISMADD Japan, an Additive manufacturing company specialized in AM Titanium Parts for Aerospace, Automotive and Medical industry. He redesigns and optimizes their conventionally created parts, to conform with AM processes by using GDE.
Dassault Systèmes User Conference in Hanau, Germany
More than 500 registered attendees, 23 sponsors and more than 100 presentations in 11 tracks contributed to the fantastic success of this event. The 2,5-day Dassault Systèmes User Conference combined several previous events, including the German Regional User Meeting, European Multibody Simulation User Group Meeting, European Durability User Group Meeting and CATIA Design User Community Day into one single event.

This gave attendees the opportunity to see all kinds of Dassault Systèmes user presentations, i.e. from SIMULIA regarding finite elements, multiphysics, multibody simulation, durability, or from CATIA Design, CATIA Systems and CATIA Engineering, and, of course, the latest 3DEXPERIENCE solutions and innovations. Other tracks featured additive manufacturing, simulation for designers, immersive visualization, POWER’BY and many more.
