Hi Everyone !

The CableWay project has been initiated a few years ago by a small numbers within the CATIA Portfolio's team. This project has evolved and the numbers of collaborators, from different fields, has increased too. Thanks to this workforce and this motivation, the data has now reached its maturity state and our goal is to share it to a maximum number of collaborators. The CableWay is a very huge data,free to use and covering quite all the 3DEXPERIENCE CATIA fields, so feel free to use it as possible to illustrate new scenarii

CONTEXT  Actual Issues & Expectations

The necessity for transportation is growing bigger and bigger with most people choosing to live in cities. In 2018, for the first time more people live in cities than outside them and this trend is set to intensify.By 2050, two in three people on the planet will be city-dwellers.

Population will undeniable continues to expand over the next century. And because the climate is changing and the ressources are restricted, energy supply and sustainability will drive the future of public and individual transportation mode. The life will be even more connected and the mobility will have to deal with services, digital identities,digital environments,new technology and alternative energy.
