On January 8th 2019, Dassault Systèmes and Cognata announced a strategic partnership during the CES. The topic ? How to test, validate and experience Autonomous Driving, all that on the 3DEXPERIENCE platform, completing the 3DEXPERIENCE CATIA Systems portfolio.
Cognata is an Israeli startup, providing a fast lane to autonomous driving with its testing and evaluation solution for self-driving vehicles—a realistic automotive simulation platform where virtual cars travel virtual roads in virtual cities, with realism levels comparable to real-world conditions for the purposes of validation and training.
We have been invited to present how this partnership between CATIA and Cognata could envision the future of Highly Autonomous Driving solutions Engineering, in front of a panel of professional Autonomous Vehicles field experts at the 2019 GTC event, the NVIDIA’s global conference series, a key "rendez-vous" for experts on the hottest topics in AI and accelerated computing.
This presentation was made jointly by the Founder and CEO of Cognata, Danny Atsmon, and by Simon Berard, representing CATIA, as member of the CATIA Strategic team.
Danny is an expert in ADAS and deep learning. He has been in the business of launching high-tech products for more than 20 years. Before joining Cognata, Danny served as Harman's (now Samsung) director of ADAS and senior director of machine learning. Danny holds a dozen U.S. utility patents and has created a pipeline of dozens more patent-pending applications. He has also won many top industry awards.
This conference along with the joint effort between the two companies is a step to demonstrate that Cognata is an integral part of CATIA’s strategy, aligned with NoMagic and Argosim acquisitions. .
We intend to deep dive jointly on these topics at the 2019 MBSE Cyber Experience Symposium in May 2019 (https://mbsecyberexperience2019.com/): you will discover that we are building the most exciting story around Autonomous Systems, Autonomous driving and Cyber Physical Systems engineering and there is more to come...
If you want to know more, do not hesitate to leave a comment: Simon and myself will be pleased to interact with you.
