【Commentary on Student Works】
title:Miel(Bluetooth speaker×clock)

Origin of the name
The word "Miel" is French for "honey.
Honey is made of nectar from various flowers brought by bees. This Bluetooth speaker captures
the "time" of the bees and the way it slowly flows down, sparkling and shining. Why don't you
spend your tired day at work or study, or on a day off, feeling the sparkle of sound and the sound
of the second hand as it slowly flows by?
Modeling was created with a total of 44 parts to evoke the passage of time. It was created with
a nostalgic design.
The entire piece was rounded and created using a lot of wood to express a sense of
enveloping warmth.
For the clock hands, we wanted to express the gentle flow of time, so we made use of curves
to create a refreshing shape.
The large volume buttons on the side are easy to press and serve as an accent.
The radio is a dial type clad in a nostalgic atmosphere.
A small clock with only a second hand was added to recreate time that never stops moving.
The power button is decorated with an orange glow to evoke an overflowing cup of honey.

I evaluated the work because of its attractiveness as a piece of artwork, its awareness of the flow of manufacturing,
and because the quality of the work is high for a first-year student's work.
