We are excited to announce that Angel Guerra, an expert in ICEM Surf, has joined the prestigious CATIA Champion Program! Angel has a wealth of experience in surface modeling and has recently been working on a personal project, designing a GTO-R muscle car using his exceptional skills in ICEM Surf.

In his recent work, Angel has demonstrated his ability to control sections and proportions with remarkable precision, focusing on elements such as the wheel arches, bonnet, and body side of the GTO-R. His approach involves using large surface patches as the foundation, which allows for further refinement of volumes and details. This method highlights his mastery in surface modeling, especially when working with a muscle car’s unique design challenges, where subtle surface transitions are key.

Even though the design of the GTO-R took him around 40 hours, Angel describes it as a concept proposal that demonstrates his expertise in surface management. His work showcases how years of experience in 3D modeling allow for more efficient and precise results without sacrificing quality.

As a new CATIA Champion, Angel will bring his deep knowledge of ICEM Surf and surface modeling to our community.
