Mold Tooling Design
In order to design the mold or stamping die tools it is required to fill the holes existing in the part to manufacture. this can take time when many holes exists. A dedicated fill surface command is provided with CATIA Die Face Design and Core Cavity separation applications.

•Save time to fill holes in surfaces, automatic solution are generated only when applicable
•Manage design changes efficiently with the ability to generate new or remove useless fill solutions when the fill surface updates

•Wizard to generate filling solutions on a surface
•Several filling solutions available (untrim, planar fill, fill, piece wise fill, draft patch)
•Automatic solution selection with the ability for the user to override what type of solution to apply
•Specify tangency criteria for the solution (G0:point, G1:tangent , G2:curvature)
•Embedded quality checker to validate the filling solutions (connect checker and iso-phote mapping)
