This first video shows how to split the working space in 3 areas to display several contents of a same design project:
Each of these areas (widgets) can be dragged outside the 3DEXPERIENCE frame. Convenient to take advantage of a second screen, or to review several projects, like show on this screenshot:

If you are a R2017x user I would recommend the following settings to not miss any of the benefits of this new feature:
- Activate the Show Widget Count option (right-click on a tab name to display its context menu)
2. Turn off all 3 Widget Layout Preferences options:
